Some boats you choose with a spreadsheet. Water Mellon we chose in about thirty seconds.
When we first saw her, on 20 July 2020, she had been on the hard for almost ten years, after a long career in charter with KAVAS YACHTING. She was tired and silent, covered in dust, and her systems were mostly a list of things to replace. But she had good lines, a solid DROMOR hull built in Greece, and a character you could feel even in that boatyard.
We bought her the following year, in 2021, from Vangelis Kavas. We did not know then how many evenings, weekends and invoices the next three years would take. We would do it again.
